My Top 19 Books of 2019 ... and a GIVEAWAY!

I read a LOT of books in 2019 (around 300, according to Goodreads). It was hard to narrow down my list of favorites for the year, but here goes. My list includes inspirational and mainstream releases. If you've read any of them, leave me a comment and let me know which book and what you thought of it.

Then, after you've looked over my list, enter to win a mystery prize pack! It will contain four (4) 2019 inspirational fiction books. It's a mix of genres, including YA (young adult), historical fiction, and mystery/suspense. There will be one winner of all four books. (Print copies - US ONLY)You can enter by using the Rafflecopter link at the end of the post. (Giveaway ends December 27, 2019. If you are the randomly chosen winner, I'll contact you.)

So, in no particular order, here are my Top 19 books of 2019:

    1. You're welcome, Jane. It was hard to narrow the list down ... even to the 19 (well, 20) I did. Lots of wonderful books in 2019. Good luck, and thanks for visiting my blog.

  2. Wow, 300 books!!!! Good for you. I need to read more, I'm hoping after the New Year I'll be able to read more especially since I'm paying for KU.
The only book I read was No Ocean Too Wide. It was for Toni Shiloh's FB author reader group.
I LOVED that book, I actually had a hard time putting it down!

Now the books I want to read are:
    The Bright Unknown
    lost Daughter (looks good)
    Where Dandelions Bloom
Overcomes-- and I want to see the movie
    How the Light Gets In
    Medallion (looks good)
    Moments we Forget
    Cilka's Journey (looks good)

The 3 books that I put looks good, the cover is what interested me!

    Thanks Leslie for your list!

With editing and reviewing, the book total goes up pretty quickly :)

Have fun with KU! Looks like you've added some great choices to your list. I highly recommend "Overcomer" (the movie). Before I finished the book, I told my husband we'd be going to see it :)

Good luck, and thanks for stopping by. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

  4. My favorite Christmas memory is lying on the floor with my sister when we were little and gazing up at the angel tree topper with the red rays radiating out from behind the angel

  6. Nice giveaway! Most of my favorite Christmas memories include going to my grandparents house for Christmas--spending time with my very large extended family--aunts, uncles, and cousins everywhere! And of course, all the good food! I'm so thankful that I'll get to spend time with my grandmother this year on Christmas Day.
Thanks for doing an amazing giveaway, Merry Christmas!

Enjoy your time with your grandmother. I was able to spend my grandmother's birthday with her this year, so I know how special that time together can be.

You're very welcome. Good luck, and thanks for stopping by.

      Merry Christmas!

  10. I loved The Medallion by Cathy Gohlke. I have a few of your favs on my bedside table, waiting for me to get to them. Some of my favourite memories are of my kids and their friends participating in church and school concerts. We still remember the "green boy" who threw up on stage.

  14. My favorite Christmas memory is when we all got together at my in law’s house when the kids were little. It was fun to see them open their presents. My hubby’s grandparents were there. Now it’s hard to get everyone together.
