There are various types of adjectives. Here are some examples of each variety:
- demonstrative: a, an, such, the, that, this
- indefinite: any, every, few, much
- numeral: one, two, second, single, etc.
- possessive: her, his, its, my, our, their, thy, your
- qualitative: (sensory words) bad, good, happy, sad, tall, short
- relative and interrogative: what, which, whatever
NOTE: Demonstrative adjectives (the and a/an) are also called articles. I'll talk more about those next time.
